The Bamboo hub uses the tried and true Nankai freecoaster mechanism that makes it the most reliable and functional freecoaster available. The Bamboo goes a step further by incorporating a hollow 14mm chromoly axle to make it truly street worthy yet lighter than the original Nankai 3/8" hub.
